🪩 Connecting Domains

Time to make your brand shine online! Whether you're using a full domain or a subdomain, this guide walks you through the full setup—step by step. Just a heads up: never connect your root domain if it's already hosting a live website (unless you want it to disappear ✨💀). Stick with a subdomain for funnels and pages, and let’s get this party started.

Domain Connection Checklist

🌐 Root Domain Setup (Optional – use with caution)

  • ⚠️ Read this first: If your domain is already connected to a live website, connect a subdomain instead to avoid downtime!
  • Go to Funnels & Websites → Domains
  • Click "Add Domain"
  • Enter your domain (e.g., creatorhq.ai) or subdomain (e.g., join.creatorhq.ai)
  • Click "Add record manually"
  • In a new tab, open your domain provider’s DNS settings
  • Click "Add New Record"
  • Copy/paste the required Host/Name and Value/Points To into your DNS records
  • Repeat for all provided records
  • Click "Save All Records" in your DNS provider
  • Return to OS and click "Verify Records"
  • 🕒 If it fails, try again—DNS updates can take a few minutes!
  • Choose the funnel or website page to link your domain to
  • Click "Link Domain"

🧭 Subdomain Setup (Recommended)

  • Click "Add Domain" again
  • Enter your subdomain (e.g., join.yourdomain.com)
  • Click "Add record manually"
  • Head to your DNS provider and add one new record
  • Paste in the provided Host/Name and Value
  • Click "Save"
  • Back in OS, click "Verify Records"
  • 🔁 You may need to verify a few times as it updates
  • 🎉 You’re now set with both a root and subdomain ready to use in your OS!
